Kova is released under the Apache License 2.0. The full text lives in the LICENSE file at the repository root.
If you redistribute a derivative, keep the LICENSE file along with the license notices of the upstream dependencies. Use ./scripts/sync-github.sh when syncing to the GitHub publish mirror (see the script’s header comment).

Acknowledgements

Kova borrows and depends heavily on community work, from architecture down to detail. Special thanks:
They respectively carry the conversational UI and the cross-platform desktop runtime. Their issue trackers and documentation are the first place many hard questions in this repository get answered.
The sidecar’s session transcripts, context compaction, and subagent design are ported from or modelled on their agent-runtime. The many PI-Desktop 同设计 comments in the code mark exactly where.
The specification and its TypeScript SDK, which give tool integration a shape to follow.
The quality of their spreadsheet and canvas engines sets the ceiling for the office plugins.
